Future Omro Chamber-Main Street has partnered with the Omro Care Center in order to raise funds for the purchase of a trishaw bicycle. The trishaw, and electric bike with a seat for two riders, will be possible for us to buy thanks in-part to a grant through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and donations raised by Future Omro. The trishaw ordered through the Cycling Without Age organization will cost approximately $5,500 after the WDH funding for half of the bike. The trishaw will provide the residents of the Omro Care Center the chance to experience the "feel of their hair and the sun in the face" once again.
If you would like to make a contribution toward the Omro Trishaw Project please send it to Future Omro, 130 W. Larrabee, Omro, WI 54963. Your donation will be considered a tax-deduction.
