Omro welcomes local residents and visitors to the 4th of July celebration! The streets along Main Street will be filled with spectators as Omro’s annual hometown parade begins at 12 pm. Enjoy homemade pie with a scoop of ice cream from the Omro Area Historical Society at the Masonic Lodge. After the parade, head over to Scott Park to Future Omro’s food and beverage center in the small pavilion. Enjoy live music by Ruckus from 1:30 to 5 pm in the National Exchange Bank & Trust Pavilion after the parade. A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase by many local non-profit groups. Stop at the Quacker ticket booth located near the entrance to Scott Park to purchase your Duck Race Tickets for the Quacker 500 at 8 pm. Grab a bite to eat and rock to the sounds of the Kenny James Duo in the circle area near the small pavilion from 6 to 9 pm. The Omro-Rushford Volunteer Fire Department will light the sky with Omro’s annual firework display at dusk (approximately 9:30 pm). We hope to see you for great food, entertainment and fireworks, all day long. For more information, please contact the Future Omro office at 685-6960 x23.
